Jamie McIntosh

Out of all the girls you can find
Jamie McIntosh taking practice seriously.
Not only does she spend hours after school
for high school practice
but you can always find her taking lessons
or at the batting cages hitting some balls.
Keeping a good attitude during it all is important.
McIntosh enjoys laughing and joking around
when needed to light the mood,
some find her wild at heart.

Working on focus is a key element in playing softball.
 No matter the circumstance
you must keep focused.
McIntosh thinks about what is needed for that game,
and how to pull a win for the team.
After seven years of playing
McIntosh still takes every practice serious.
Her dad always pushed playing softball
In a way you can say
she was born with a glove and softball in hand
.
To get ready for a game McIntosh keeps her focus,
thinks about what is needed for the game,
and what was talked about in practices.
Also listening to Beautiful Boys by CocoRosie
before a game gets the blood pumped and flowing.

Student Life.

Drum-line knows how to pump up the spirit at the pep rallies.
November 12th Jessica Jones &
Kayla Davis get the crowd started for a pep rally.

Night or day you can find the Derby drumline getting everyone spirited for a game.
November 12th 2009 the drum-line helps get people ready for Derby's play of game.

Who is better than Karlee Haridman to get the crowd ready.
All the drummers worked to keep up with spirit
& pump up the students for Derby's play off game.

Practicing in the hot sun can bring anyone down.
Wild at heart junior Kayla Oldham laughs
and jokes with the coach keeping the practice in a light mood.
